Review

Read what an agent's branch changes, comment on its lines, and send the comments to the agent

Everything the selected agent's branch changes against its target, file by file. Comment on the lines you would change, send the comments to the agent, and read its answers under them.

The +N -M on the tab strip opens it, as does Alt+G. It counts the lines the branch adds and removes against its target, committed or not. With nothing to review it reads review. The comments waiting on you are counted inside the review, beside viewed, where ‹ and › (or n and p) step through them.

Marking lines

Press a line's number to mark it, and drag down the numbers, or click another line, on its number or its text, with Ctrl (or Shift, or Alt) held, to mark a run. Some terminals, Windows Terminal among them, keep Shift-click for their own selection, so Ctrl is the one that reaches everywhere. Selecting text marks the lines it covers, and the comment quotes what you selected. A comment line under the run opens the comment; so does c.

Writing a comment

Type in the card that opens under the lines. { } code block adds an empty code block in the file's language and puts the cursor inside it; text between backticks is drawn as inline code. save at the card's foot, or Ctrl+S, keeps the comment as a draft; discard, or Esc, drops it. A draft can be edited or deleted until it is sent.

Sending

A comment you keep is a draft until you send it. While one waits, the bar under the agent area shows the comment mark and a count, in gold for drafts and in green for answers to read, while you are on the agent's tab. Click it to open the comments, listed by file: click one to open the review on it, or send N drafts to the agent at the foot. UZE asks first, saying what the agent will be told, and tells it only once you allow it and the agent is ready. The agent reads the comments, makes the changes, and answers each one; the answer appears under the comment, where you resolve it.

A comment whose lines the agent rewrote stays at the end of its file, quoting the lines it was about.

Viewed

v marks the file on show as read. The list shows a check beside it and counts how many are. When the agent changes a file after you viewed it, the check turns to the warning colour and stops counting, whether or not the file is on show.

all shows the branch against its target; uncommitted only what is not committed yet. Comments and viewed marks are kept for the agent across sessions, and go when the agent does.
